Jessica Gubing is a seasoned human resources professional with a background in health care strategy and operations. Prior to launching, The Cortex Group, Inc., Jessica spent almost 15 years working as a global human resources/labor relations executive at a Fortune 20 company focusing on total rewards/employee benefit programs, union negotiations, public policy, and performance management. During the early part of her career, she was part of a fantastic team at a local health insurance company working on data analytics, quality management, and NCQA accreditation.
Jessica’s passion is to utilize her 20+ years of experience to bring creative solutions to the table and follow them through to implementation. Her strong background in data analytics, lean manufacturing, change management and business case development allows her to drive actionable results.
She is a trustee of the UAW Retirees Health Care Trust (URHCT) and a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). She loves working with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and partnering with the local OakMac chapter.
In addition to holding a B.S. degree in Biology and M.S. degree in Evaluative Clinical Sciences from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and Dartmouth Medical School, she has completed training in Compensation Committees and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 daughters, and new puppy Cinder.
